Yes. To three MLB games in three different cities, Kansas City, Milwaukee, and Miami. Coincidentally the Kansas City Royals were playing in each game.

Nope. I can't think of much about the life-on-board-ship experience that would appeal to me.

Have you ever caught yourself talking out loud to yourself and afterwards noticed others looking oddly at you?

Just once or twice, I think, but it's been a long time.

I would never admit to such a thing, but I have a, um, friend who has been known to dote upon the likes of Jessica Rabbit and Kim Possible

Yes, twice that I can recall, but was not spotted either time.

Have you ever had your car run off the road? (skidding in ice/snow or just evading)

Yes, by deer. Ended up up-side-down, hanging from my seat belt. I didnt think I was hurt, my cel phone was outta of my reach in the back seat. So I unclipped my belt to fall on the ceiling, and found out, painfully, how injured I was. Never got to my phone. When I awoke again they were pulling me out and putting me in the ambulance. It was 4 hours later and my husband thought I should be home and came and found me and called 911. I had a broken jaw, a broken collarbone and ribs. It was several weeks before I realized how long I was in the wrecked car.

Yes. But nothing big. There is a time of year we call land crab season where I probably run over at least 100 crabs on a drive to/from work.

Yes, once, in college when I fell down some concrete steps and cracked my skull. Why yes, alcohol was involved.

Yes. More than once in sailboats. No problem. Pick up a mooring under sail. Tender ashore with an empty gas can. Problem solved.

No, but I have friends who were, and I've dealt as a lawyer many, many times with people who'd been arrested.

Have you ever been in serious trouble and called a lawyer?

Not necessarily serious trouble, but yes, I have called a lawyer, a few times. Note that I am a lawyer myself, but even so, I need legal help from time to time. Most notably, when my marriage was disintegrating and my wife told me that she had engaged one of the best divorce lawyers in town, I called a colleague, who could represent me dispassionately, fairly, and with my best interests in mind. He did a good job, which I could not do at the time. Maybe I would have been in serious trouble, owing to emotion, had I represented myself.

Yes, Accidently. I had a boyfriend in Art school whose job was as afternoon radio show. I used to go to the station and hang out. We were talkin while the records were spinning, and he hit the Mic key and everybody heard us having a heated discussion about him flirting with my room mate. Embarrassment was not our worst issue, they actually fired him. He was hired back in 2 weeks when no one else wanted to do that time of day. We broke up over my room mate, and the ass dated her for awhile.

Yes. I discovered the Guinness Book of World Records when I was in middle school, and I read that he held the record for longest lost at sea. I encountered him in subsequent editions too.

Yes. Too many to count. When I was in college I worked for the concession vendor at a concert venue. The office and supply storage was backstage, just a couple doors down from the lead performer's dressing room. For part of that time I had to set up our part of the catering in the dressing room before the show's access to the building began. Some interesting orders, but none making be sort M&M's by color.

Have you ever showed up for work on a day off because you forgot what day of the week it was?

Yes. Well, sort of. I overslept a bit, looked at the clock, panicked, quickly did my usual morning things, got dressed in jacket and tie, grabbed my briefcase, and jumped in the car. It was on the way to my office that I noticed that traffic was lighter than usual, and I realized--it was Saturday. So I didn't actually get to work, but I think my experience fits the parameters.

Yes, yes. What fun we had. Saw some really crappy 'B' movies. Ate crappy junk food. Ran around like a bunch of teens would. The drive-in nearest me was going out of business in the mid eighties so a bunch of us got together and took a couple of cars and an ice chest. It was horrible. Couldn't hear the sound, kids were running allover the place. Mosquitoes were bad. You're only young once I guess. But I do have fond memories.

Have you ever drank so much you blacked out and woke up in a strange place?

Yes. A local band we wanted to see and hear was playing nearby, and since Buddy's girlfriend didn't drink, we had a designated driver. Buddy and I overindulged, and I don't remember the last part of the night. But apparently Girlfriend got us home safely. Buddy woke up in his own bed, but I woke up on the front seat of the pickup truck, where they left me. I awoke, lifted my head, and promptly hit it on the steering wheel. Klutzy me, as always.

Have you ever hailed a taxi, like in the movies? (That is, stood on the curb, raised your hand, and hollered, "Taxi!" or whistled?)

Yes, I guess so. It was circa 2000 and Kevin McClatchy owned the Pittsburgh Pirates. I made some deprecating remarks about the team, totally oblivious to the fact that the team's owner was in the group I was talking to. I was embarrassed.

Yes, if 300-400 is "large." I speak to groups of lawyers about once a year at legal education seminars. Sometimes it's only 20 or so, sometimes its more.

Yes, not very well. When I was a kid my mom picked up one at a garage sale with a dozen or so music cards and I learned to pick out tunes on my own. Funny, I hadn't thought about the zither in decades, but I must have spent many hours on it back then.

Yes! I went in 2006.
It's free and well worth the effort of contacting one's Member of Congress. The self-guided tour is OK especially if you get to talk with a knowledgeable Secret Service member or other staffer assigned to the rooms. Hubby did a guided tour in 1990 and said it was better back then.

Yes, I didn't like to, but Mr.Wrekker insisted I learn. I am obligated to know how to shoot all his weapons (bows included). I am very anti-gun and a peace-nik. It's one of my 'between a rock and a hard place' challenges. I cope, oh, boy how I cope!
