No. But I can't believe that I actually did it once in Mom's car in view of a house! 20 feet away. Looked safe, then I was astonished that I took that chance.

Have you ever went to a pro wrestling event? Who? (oh, was that asked before?)

Yes. I was visiting Mrs Iggy's aunt who worked on an onion farm. She made what looked like cole slaw, just substitute onion for cabbage. I ate it in small bites and smiled a lot, but feigned that I was full to avoid a second serving.

Have you ever intentionally gone to work wearing mismatched socks?

Yes, when I was in a hurry and couldn't find a matched pair of clean socks. Not too badly mismatched, one navy and one black.

Have you ever broken a window?
(I accidentally broke a small one in an old door in our house, replacing it is going to be a pain )
(unintentional pun)

Yes, and on purpose too. I was once renting the second floor of a house, with a separate entrance. I came home drunk one night and dropped the key at the top of the stairs. There was no way I was finding it, so I took off a shoe and broke the window to get in.

Yes. Yes I have, with a friend in my youth.

It's difficult to explain, but we would transpose letters between words and substitute other synonyms. I can't explain further.

Yes, the cat we've had for over a year came to us from a shelter at 2 1/2 weeks old. We bottle-fed him several days and then switched to spoon-feeding.
(You would think he'd be grateful! But no, he's decided that play-fighting with my hands and feet is the best fun and I have too many scratches)

I have. My son was enamoured of kites as a young boy. We finally got good enough that we consistently got one aloft. Took awhile.

Yes all the time. Unless it has to be a rampant grizzly bear or a man-eating tiger. I confront about a dozen or two possums/armadillos/raccoons in my own backyard every year. I catch at least six or eight sharks each year (most 3'-5' but up to 10'), and routinely have to slap the water very hard with my paddle to shoo alligators away from my kayak.

No, but then I've never been to the everglades. I have been on a couple of airboats in Texas, though(and once in LA).

All answers should be "yes," followed by the next question.
I'm seeing a lot of "no"s here, when I thought the original premise was to find people who have actually done what was asked. In my opinion, just answering "no" defeats that purpose of finding people that have done interesting things.
Just sayin'.

OMG YES. At the park in Ohio...Sandusky? I think. Big wooden coaster, we stopped 80% of the way up the main hill. A guy walked up the track (on a footpath alongside the track). He asked us to be patient, made sure nobody was too freaked.

It took maybe 10 minutes to fix the problem. When we came into the station people were cheering us and the guy running the ride let us go through again.

Yes, sort of. A friend and I pushed our through the door during a break, being quasi-reporters for our college newspaper, to ask members of Pacific Gas & Electric questions about what was quoted elsewhere.
Q. Do you really read The Bible?
A. Just the parts about the herbs.

As the OP who has been following the thread, I'll modify things a bit to allow for "no, but I've done something close enough."

For example, "Have you ever milked a goat?" could (IMHO) be adequately answered by, "No, but I raised goats on my Dad's farm and won prizes for them at the county fair." That's fine, and it displays a knowledge of caring for goats; close enough. But if the answer was, "No, but I'm a breeder of purebred cocker spaniels," that would be unacceptable, as it has no bearing on the question involving goats.

My intention in asking for "Yes" things that normal people would reasonably have done, was to avoid game-killers like "Have you ever walked on the Moon?" or "Have you ever flown like Superman?" or similar. Let's keep it to experiences that normal people could reasonably have experienced, or close enough.

Of course, if we were to be joined by a poster who did claim to walk on the Moon, and that poster turned out to be Buzz Aldrin in real life, I don't think we could argue with that.

I worked in a liquor store and we were robbed at gun point once and robbed by someone pretending to have a gun in a hoody pouch. We reacted the same to both robbers which was to open the register and back up. Both times I was not the person on the register, so I backed up all the way into the cooler. I stayed there until the door was locked and police were called.

Yes, I did when I was 17 or so, after having read some about Zen guy or other had shaved his head half-and half, so that he would be socially perverse so as to aid in his striving for solitude for meditation; me, my imitation was so I would continue to practice/play piano as long and deeply as possible.

Yes, a few months ago a poster on Baker's Dozen posted a link to Gordon Lightfoot's "Song for a Winter Night" and I listened to 5 or 6 covers before finding a version I really enjoyed.
And yes to several questions in a row before this one--I have primarily resided outside the country of my birth, have been to London (was born there), love pizza with anchovies, am also a listed bone marrow donor, and have swum in an indoor pool in winter with frost on the ground.

Have you ever adopted a pet from a shelter?

Yes, two actually. Both cats, and one is taking a break from napping in order to play with her ball as I type this.

Oh yes. We clipped the wire to the antenna which meant the sound played on the radio, which meant we could roll up the windows on the pickup, which meant the weed smoke stayed right there with us. I do not remember any of those movies, only that we watched them.

No, but my brother-in-law had a boa constrictor. Once, when he was cleaning the constrictor's cage, he put the snake over his shoulder. Something spooked it, and it wrapped around him and started constricting. He found it hard to breathe but was able to get the snake off him - a close call he'll never forget!
