"Machine Music" for Koch Industries. Love this commercial, interesting that the song is "Union Maid." Or maybe you would say the song is "Red Wing."

I can't figure out what it is about it that tickles me so much, but I never tire of it. I giggle every single time!

I figure the place is known for its lemon meringue pie, so it's understood that's what you're ordering when you ask for pie. But I can't say I've ever given it a deep think.

What is your current favorite commercial?

I just saw this one involving a sasquatch fasmily and a mattress protector, and if the product is half as good as that commercial I'm going to order a half dozen.

I had to double-check which brand of car it was, but Subaru has a series of "Driving dog family" commercials; my fave is this one where they go to the car wash.

I like the commercial where they play the first two verses of Sounds Of Silence. I have no idea what the commercial is for, I just really like the song. I will probably grow to hate both song and commercial if it plays too frequently for too long, though.

A lot of the youtube links in the previous thread are dead now. I think having a new thread is good.

I don't care for Walmart as a company but I do like many of their recent commercials. This one features Pharrell's Freedom Song.

Famous cars utilize Walmart's Grocery Pickup.

I like this Bounty commercial with the kid learning to eat with chopsticks. The food falls off and slides to the edge of the table and everybody yells "NOOOO!" in slow motion. The dog says "YESSS!" and catches it in his mouth.

I quite liked the TNT commercial. It really had me piqued when I first watched it, and for such a good ad, it didn't look like tons of money was spent on it.

Definitely! I think the voiceover guy even acknowledges that... The whole thing is just so over the top though. The girl's quick response suggests that this isn't the first time something like this has happened... Who knows what that couch is hiding.

The new Coors Light "Official" ads are entertaining and have good music:
  • The Official Beer of Drinking in the Shower
  • The Official Beer of Being Done Wearing a Bra
  • (y en español) La Cerveza Oficial del Sábado por la Mañana
It's interesting that the Drinking in the Shower ad contains a "Do Not Attempt" warning, but the woman letting it hang out and the guys knocking back some beers with breakfast get no such caveat. I guess drinking in the shower is more dangerous than I thought. (Or maybe the mothers are now against drunk showering.)

OK, I saw this commercial and I had to laugh.

Spoilered because it's one of those gross Stanley Steemer commercials.

SPOILER:
It's the one where the dad is playing "airplane" with his baby daughter and she throws up all overt him.

I like two beer commercials for different reasons. Dos XX's Total Eclipse of the Heart parodies because I know how it is when there's nothing you can do, there's a really big crowd at the bar.

Modelo's Great Americans commercials. Fills me with Latina pride and makes me want to go pick up some Modelo Negro.

A recent commercial for McDonald's features what I always thought was a fairly annoying song about summertime, with little scenes of all the things about summer that are annoying. At the end, sitting on a park bench eating a fast food burger does seem right nice by comparison. And the song (by the Jamies) has begun to grow on me.

I don't know why the actress's face is blurred out in that video. Let me repost the correct version of the commercial.

I always smile at the girl with acne.

"I have...jury duty......tonight!"

And "retinoid" is just too unbelievable a word. Sounds like something in Star Trek. "Captain, the Retinoids are attacking!"

I have no problem with the "Great Americans" premise, but the narrator in those commercials has such a smug delivery that I want to strangle him.
