"Let Me Call You Sweetheart" sung in a TV show? Help me remember!

I recently heard an instrumental version of "Let Me Call You Sweetheart" playing somewhere, and a hazy memory popped up of the cast of (maybe) a sitcom singing the song together. In my mind, it was somewhat similar to the great "Darktown Strutters' Ball" scene in the final episode of Mary Tyler Moore, with the characters breaking out in song somewhat spontaneously. It may not have been a sitcom, but I'm pretty sure it was from a TV show and not a movie.

The only detail I can remember is one character singing "In your eyes so blue" while another sang "In your eyes so true," and they repeated the words "blue" and "true" to each other as if arguing the point.

That's all I got. Ring any bells?

I don't wanna be That Guy but did you check the Wikipedia article for the song? There's two lists of media appearances for the song.

(ETA: The MASH episode isn't listed on the Wikipedia page so uhm...I guess it's not very thorough )

Oooh, that might be it. Was it Hawkeye and BJ who had the blue/true exchange?

Before anyone goes crazy trying to find this on YouTube, "Darktown Strutters' Ball" was the song at the end of the Chuckles Bites the Dust episode of MTM. The final episode featured "It's a Long Way to Tipperary."

Seems we were both wrong about the episode. It was "Edie Gets Married" (Season 6, Episode 1). The scene is here at 23:19.

Huuuge apologies.

Something didn't feel right about my guess. I eventually tracked down that episode of M*A*S*H. (It's a clear IP violation so I won't link to it.)

They just barely start singing the song at the very end of the episode. Got thru just the title phrase and the show ended.

What I was thinking: I thought this was sung during the episode where the projector breaks down and impromptu talent show ensues. So I Googled MASH and the song title and this episode came up. Knew it wasn't the same episode but it still seemed to fit my memory.

Anyway, sorry.

(This episode has the picnic film Radar's family sent him, Frank's wife finding out about Hotlips, and Potter getting a new grandchild. The latter somehow triggers the song.)

Alfalfa sang it to Darla in an episode of Our Gang/Little Rascals. I seem to remember bubbles coming out of his mouth.

The Rascals had substituted slices of white soap for the Swiss cheese in his lunchbox sandwich. They were POed because he was violating the rules of the He-Man Women Haters Club.
