Male, straight, and like others, I find this phenomenon absolutely mystifying. I cannot imagine what lady I have ever been involved in who would have wanted a picture of my dick, nor would a close up picture of their vulva have turned me on.

Straight male in his 40s. I wouldn't go sending photos of my dong to random people but there exist(ed) some Polaroids and home video footage of sexy times -- including said dong -- from my younger days. I assume my partner from back then has gotten rid of her copies (and I have of mine) but, if not, so it goes. If someone is going to look at me naked they may as well look at me naked and twenty years younger.

So I have photographed my junk (and/or had it photographed for me) but not in a "send unsolicited to some unfortunate soul" manner.

Male here, I'm reasonably sure that I once accidentally (I misread an e-mail very badly) sent an image of my genitals to an uninterested party. At the time, I was deluged with e-mails falling into three categories

#1 'You are the very epitome of erotic manliness! Kindly send materials of yourself of the pornographic variety.'

#2 'What were your artistic/aesthetic intentions?'

#3 ' You are sick! Sick, I say!'

I mistook a message of the second category for one of the first. I am genuinely sorry and apologize unequivocally.

Other than that, a long distance fan joked she wanted to see me naked. I warned her that I might actually send images. She then insisted on my sending them. I had a friend shoot some pictures. They've been e-mailed to various admirers over the years, and after getting aministrative permission I posted links to them in a thread I started. That thread resulted in a deluge of e-mails- one of which I misread.

But the best part is that a Trumpist tweeted "The correct word is vagina." When it was pointed out that, no, the correct word is vulva, he refused to admit he was wrong and started speaking in gobbledygook. The first person who corrected him was a woman gynecologist, and he told her she was wrong. When a woman told him he was mansplaining, he said that was the wrong word, too.

My wife and I have exchanged many photos and videos over the years. So I have both given and received I greatly enjoyed the receiving end.

In the past I've had girls send me pictures of their breasts or them masturbating or close up genitalia shots but I'm not great at trusting so I didn't return the favor to them. I still enjoyed receiving them and did my best to express my thanks.

The biggest problem is that while you like and trust the person when you send them it doesn't mean you'll like and trust them forever and that makes things a challenge for me but I greatly enjoy the concept.
