I used to completely forget about Krustyland for long periods of time.

I'm enjoying this one becuase I'm actually developing Itchy and Scratchy Land. I never really did with Krustyland.

Also a glitch happened to me but I found a solution online. If you buy Soarin' Over Springfield to get the costume for Squeaky Voice Teen so he can start helping with the event he might disappear from the game. The game put him into my inventory and I had to go and get him and put him back in the game. While there I found several other characters where in my inventory and not in the game. I don't know why. So I put them back in the game too.

Not to be too much of a hater, but we're basically getting a new theme park and we are getting a go kart track, a roller coaster, a log ride, a nurse's station, a couple of parade animations, and a few characters?

Like ... that's a lot of nothing. I like the stuff and I don't hate the event, but if I did I&S land as a separate entity from my KL, it'd have four items.

Yeah, that's why I'm hauling out KL rides. To make the park bigger and more park-like.

Also why do we still earn KL tickets from KL rides? Why can't we get money or XP? Where do the KL tickets go to?

I think I'm going to poke around a bit in the game.

Ok, I found the tickets. In the KL tab in your inventory it shows the tickets where it normally shows the money. And I played Sideshow You to get more tickets and the count did go up. So it's still tracking them. I went to the store and you can still spend the tickets on KL stuff.

QUICK!

I just started playing this again last week. The current contest/game/whatever ends in 16 hours. Does that mean I lose all my tickets in 16 hours as well?

(I've already spent my free land tokens, fwiw.)

Only event currency will go away, not krustyland tickets. The event currency is currently itchy and scratchy money and rubber chainsaws.

Make sure you buy all KL land spots before nuking it. You keep your tickets and can place KL stuff in your town.

Quitting after this. EA has basically told me fuck you, we're not fixing bugs. And the most recent update (roller coaster) slowed things to a crawl.

Small update tomorrow. App store update. Poochie for sale, I guess.

I'm trying to buy up as many go kart tracks as possible while I still can so I can make a super big track. If I wanted to buy log ride or roller coaster pieces, I'd be shit outta luck because they're prohibitively expensive. And I feel we will never be able to buy these pieces again.

EA, please find someone who can do math.

Some advice, please...

I have $2 million in the bank. Should I...

1. Upgrade IRS (currently level 5)
2. Redwood (level 8)
3. Money mountain (level 6)
4. None of the above

?

Of those three choices, the IRS is the only one that is somewhat useful for the game since it will help you clear the board a little quicker. But it is a minor gain. Do you like big trees? Unfortunately with these big decorations, unless you like the look, they don't do anything

My city is a hellish landscape designed with the sole purpose of cramming as much stuff into as small an area as possible, on a par with the lowest of 1970-era third world municipalities, a Springfield solely designed to make playing the game easier.

So IRS upgrades are nice, but not necessary.

Save the money it is!

4. Turn on the XP Collider if you have it and farm kwik-e-marts.

https://tstoaddicts.com/2016/09/28/f...r-free-donuts/

TLDR: Build and sell 20 kwikemarts every 4 hours to get the XP points. More if you want to spend down your money.

Get the first few IRS upgrades, then wait to upgrade it completely, it has diminishing returns.

The tree gives a premium job for Lisa and the mountain a super premium (3x I think) for Burns.

Farming works best if you have a good multiplier. The premium beach houses in the Springfield Heights section are the best for raising you multiplier, when fully upgraded.

My daily challenge is to tap 250 Krustyland visitors, but I have no Krustyland? Am I missing something here? Is Krustyland back?

The entire last event was based around nuking (literally) Krustyland and moving it to the main Springfield area. Or maybe it was two events ago, it sort of merged into a create Itchy and Scratchy land event.

Anyway, I'm not sure how it will work for you if you haven't logged in for a long time, but you should have all your old Krustyland stuff in inventory or something to add to your Springfield if you desire.

There is some kind of zoo update today but I haven't been triggered to start the tasks so I'm not sure what's up. I can't get to TSTOAddicts from work either.

Ol' Gill is selling 2400 donuts for only $20. I couldn't resist.

I'm just getting started on the zoo.

2400 for $20? I have half-price 300 donuts, how do I get 2400/20?

I don't know. But for me it showed 80% off of the 2400 one and not the 50% off of the 300 one like you say and the pic that TSTO has.

https://tstoaddicts.com/2018/08/01/m...wn/#more-59816

Also if you tap the Animal feeding Area you can collect all the stuff from all zoo visitors every 4 hours. So no more hunting them down.

I can't get to TSTOAddicts at work anymore, sadface. I haven't figured out what the point of changing animals at the Emu Experience is for. Is there any reason for this?

You get 2 sanctuary grants for every poison frog you place in another springfield or for any cleared frog that is put in your own.

Bonus... as far as I can tell, if the other city doesn't have a zoo, then you can't place the frogs.

Went ahead and, for the first time, bought the 300 donuts for $10 and got Barney. I know many claim he's not worth the effort..., but c'mon man, it's Barney!

I read about the animal placement in the TSOAddicts post, that's kind of cool and it's something a little different than having animals or other NPCs wandering around.

I was wondering about EA's Other Springfield though. Does it pay to put frogs in there?

Because I keep spending $1m by zapping through the characters giving them jobs!

In case someone else made the same mistake as me, you can scroll down the options when you send people to do their craft jobs. All five (FIVE! WTF, EA?) areas have jobs for characters but only three show up when you tap on the gate to send people.

I got the last prize in Act 2 just fine but I am not upgrading the areas that fast and I think it's because I missed out on a lot of crafting currency by not sending all my available characters.

Whoops.

I hate this event. I mean, it's refreshing it's slightly different, but it still sucks.

I like it myself. Have 2 Emu areas, all the other areas are fully upgraded (except for the latest), have earned about 10 donuts waiting between events, and am again enjoying going to the other Springfields, laying frogs and tadpoles.

Dammit EA.

I've been missing out too.

An update today which, as far as I can tell, was built for the express purpose of putting all the kids 4-hour activities 1st in line on their task chart. Thanks, EA!

Almost done with my zoo... last prize is teenage Homer which requires 72,200 DNA (currently @ 56,400). I have enough of the other thing to almost fully upgrade Warmongers, but will wait until I can get all three of the final upgrades at once. Just under 6 days left, according to my countdown.

Somehow I missed this. Here's an option:

Before you start giving people jobs, go to the Town Hall and find Cecil. Make him do something that won't cost you a million. Then he'll be out of the order and you can zap through everyone else.

Eh, I put Cecil in the box.

Now I have 2 characters whose 4-hour jobs are above their 60 minute jobs for whatever reason,, but I'm OK with that. But losing a million? Not worth my time.

That means MOST of the time there is a quest that needs completing. However, the two updates we had yesterday messed up a bunch of things so it might not be true in this case. And sometimes there is a long-term glitch where they're not in the right order.

Last day on the zoo. Finished it this past Friday, been collecting donuts since then. I now have enough sanctuary grants to get a 2nd exhibit but am undecided as to which one to get - great plains, baboon country, other? I have 24 hours to decide so maybe I'll have enough to get 2 of the things.

Ha! After all this time, God knows how many chances, I finally got 150 tickets (3 50-ticket selections) at Sideshow You. Let's just say that the number of times I got the minimum... 15 tickets... has been vastly greater.

Can't be the full event... all I've had is one single building.

Also, in more mundane news, got $200k, $40k, and $12k at the dog track in the past week. Drool Britannia, you're a VERY good boy!

Anyone else have issues where the game locks up? Mine locks up sometimes when I try to tap the creatures. The game also crashes when I got to neighbor towns to tap them.
