Seth Meyers just used clips of the interview (with Wolf Blitzer) in his Closer Look segment tonight:

Rudy Giuliani Butt-Dials Reporter; Trump Booed at World Series: A Closer Look

Trump says that Obama getting all this credit for the OBL raid "is a lot crap" because the decision was a no brainer for the president. The next bit is of Pence saying the success of the al-Baghdadi takedown is a tribute to the courage of our armed forces and "the decisiveness of our Commander-in-Chief, the President of the United States".

There really does seem to be a Trump Tweet/interview for everything.

This is a great clip from Jimmy Kimmel comparing Obama's announcement re: bin Laden and Trump's announcement re: al Bagdahdi.

Remember back to the first 6-12 months of the Trump "presidency" when he would actually follow the teleprompter script for most of a speech and talking heads would gasp and say "I think he's turned the corner and is becoming presidential"?

When was the last time we heard that line?

"...Trump spurred confusion Friday after he tweeted about a "blowout" 303,000 jobs figure — minutes after an official government report said the economy added 128,000 jobs in October.

...
Trump’s tweet about the jobs report also raised eyebrows because it violated the one-hour ban on White House commentary on sensitive economic data. Trump tweeted his praise for the report at 8:52 a.m., just more than 20 minutes after the jobs report was released."

My bold.

Violated a ban? What else is new?

Quote:
A fan celebrating the Washington Nationals win over the Houston Astros in game seven of the World Series at a bar in DC Wednesday night dropped the F-bomb and trashed President Donald Trump during a post-game interview with a local Fox affiliate. Thursday morning, he was being alternately cheered and jeered by chattering classes around the country for his hutzpah.

The unidentified fan, being interviewed by WTTG told the reporter that “D.C. needed this. We got some ***sshole in the f***ing White House.”

...

Detractors of the president labeled the fan a national hero.

I had hopes early on. However, I did not do due diligence - therefore we have a buffoon for POTUS, who alienates our allies. and drops a solid rock-hard turd on geo-politics. Some here may embrace this...I don't.

Put a bunch of homeless people in Nationals jerseys and send them to the White House. CFSG won't know the difference, and they'll get a hamberder out of the deal.

Don't be too hard on him. He and ~63M of his friends all share the blame. You know what they say about the first step to recovery.

The New York Times reviewed all of Trump's tweets in office, and it's pretty revealing, although not surprising:

https://www.dailykos.com/stories/201...paign=trending

He praises dictators, scorns our traditional allies.

More than half of his tweets attack someone or something.

He praises one person -- himself.

The number of his tweets has been rising during his time in office. He's now up to over 250 tweets a day (!)

More than half of the attack tweets take place between 6 and 10 AM, when he has no advisors present (I like to thin of him as being "unsupervised")

He also LOVES Conspiracy Theories.

If each tweet takes 2-ish minutes, that's 8+ hours a day. If each one takes 3 minutes, that's 12+ hours a day. Who knew presidentin' would be so time-consuming!

Per the article, it's 250 per week. Which is still a ridiculous amount for someone who is supposedly managing the affairs of an entire country, and/or fitting in a round or two of golf most weekends.

If one really wants to argue that some media outlet or other is an Enemy of the People, one need look no further than Fox and Friends.

Um, the article states that he's tweeted 11,000 times since his inauguration day, January 20, 2017. That was just over 1,000 days ago (I know, it seems a lot longer.) My rudimentary math skills show that he's averaging about 11 tweets per day.

That's over the entire time the nation has been afflicted with him. The rate has been increasing as the walls start to close in.

But to his adoring millions, these are people who need to be attacked.

What is striking is who he follows on Twitter.

Only 1 Congressman (Jim Jordan)
8 accounts from his own business
Conservative media, mostly Fox
Current and former administration accounts
a few others

Many of his retweets were from conspiracy theorists, of course those that he retweets often praise him or attack his enemies.

Bevins losing was an outlier because he was too much of an asshole for even the GOP to get elected - other than that, the Dems lost ground in KY.

Well, that Rand Paul puke made noises about “outing” the whistleblower. And miracle of miracles, it looks like the Russians heard his plea and did exactly that.
JUST like the horse shit over “her emails” –which turned out to be a lie, but of COURSE the lie stuck and the final ultimate retraction by the rag NY Times was buried.
https://www.rawstory.com/2019/11/rus...bursts-report/
Quote:
Russian media is outing the alleged whistleblower after Rand Paul’s reckless outbursts: report
President Donald Trump’s allies are trying to retaliate against the whistleblower whose complaint triggered the Ukraine scandal. And no one is doing so more enthusiastically than Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY), who tweeted out a link to a right-wing article in Real Clear Investigations that purported to reveal the whistleblower’s name, occupation at the CIA, and photograph.
https://www.washingtonpost.com/natio...entucky-trump/
Quote:
‘Do your job and print his name’: Rand Paul demands media identify the whistleblower
Addressing a packed arena in Lexington, Ky., Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) claimed on Monday night that he knows the identity of the whistleblower whose complaint is at the center of the impeachment inquiry against President Trump. Then, Paul delivered a pointed message to the media.
“Do your job and print his name!” the senator yelled, prompting the crowd to raucously chant, “Do your job!” …
About 30 minutes into his remarks, Trump invited Paul onstage, calling him “a great warrior” and “a great guy.”
Once again, the Republicans and the Russians are playing footsy. Treason and betrayal. In plain sight.

There was a story in the Washington Post that, due to I'm at work, couldn't be opened. But the headline was that Republicans are angling to drag the Bidens into Trump's impeachment hearings. Because their (Bidens) involvement in the BS seems to be that Trump wanted them investigated by Ukraine. Correction- he wanted Ukraine to declare them to be under investigation.

This is an excellent idea. Not only for the 'justice for the swindled' aspect, but for the 'Trump richly deserves torture, and nothing would torture him like this' aspect.

Trump as the Apprentice : Season one - Watch as President Donald Trump attempts to navigate the red tape and bureaucracy of government to attempt to get a Library Card.
  • See his attempts to locate a library in real time!
  • See him navigate to the customer service counter.
  • Watch as REAL librarians attempt to explain what books are!
If Donald completes these tasks, next season is promising to be special as he attempts to buy a pair shoes WITHOUT IVANCA TO GUIDE HIM!

I'd prefer a program along the lines of, "Watch the newest inmate learn to navigate the ins and outs of prison life! Currency! Etiquette! Sharing and taking turns! Personal hygiene! It's like kindergarten, except a mistake can cost you a body part!"
