I'd have to go with normal lifespan - loss is part of life, and I'm probably more able to deal with it than my pet.

Would you rather experience constantly moving kaleidoscope vision the rest of your life or have a continual rotation of Britney Spears songs for earworms the rest of your life?

I'll take the kaleidoscope vision. A least I could close my eyes and listen to real music.

Would you rather be probed by an alien anally or orally?

Anally. I don't have to look at them, and can close my eyes and not think about what they are doing.

Would you rather live with Bill and Hillary or Donald and Melanie?

Donald and Melanie - I can handle a crazy person pretty well.

Definitely spiders.

Would you prefer to be doomed to always miss the last 5 minutes of every movie/TV show, or doomed to always be missing the last 2 pages of every book?

The last two pages of every book. Reason being is at that point in most books it's usually denouement, and at least the climax has already occurred. Not so with the last 5 minutes of most movies or tv shows.

Would you rather be able to accurately predict the future two seconds in advance or receive a one time tax free payment of $90,000?

Two seconds isn't long enough. I'll take the money.

Blind. I have terrible vision anyway, but keen hearing. And I love music.

Oh man, talk about Sophie's Choice! I've been poor and I HATED it. A billionaire could have stuff delivered, but I couldn't even take public transportation? I have to walk literally EVERYWHERE? Even to Canada? Even to Switzerland?

Ugh, I'll be poor with a reliable car. BUT I WON'T LIKE IT.

Who would you rather kiss on the lips: Donald Trump or Hilary Clinton?

Hillary Clinton. I'd kill myself before having anything to do with Trump.

Would you rather have the first openly gay US President be a man or a woman?

Don't care. If he or she is smart, capable, well-balanced and supports policies with which I agree, I'd be fine with either. If I absolutely had to choose... uh, OK, a lesbian, but only because all of the other Presidents up to now have been dudes.

Rather have the first Asian-American or Latino President?

Same as above: don't care which as long is the person is smart, capable, efficient, and matches my own ideology.

But choosing... I think a Latino president (or Latina) might be able to repair/improve our relations with our neighbors and hemisphere-mates.

Oops, now I have to think up another one. Hmmmm...

If you had to relive your life, would you prefer to choose the starting point (e.g., 5th grade) where your life restarts, and not have any memory of your "first" life, or would you like to retain your memory of your "first" life, and be restarted at your birth.

I'd rather retain my memory of my first life; otherwise, it would be just like this life.

Deaf in one ear.

Would you rather have

A) Trump victory in 2016, but guaranteed Democratic victory in 2020 and 2024, or

B) Trump defeat in 2016, but guaranteed Republican victory in 2020 and 2024?

Ooo, that's a toughie. I guess Option A. I'd take one loss - especially since I suspect a President Trump will be able to actually do very little, given implacable Democratic (and some Republican) opposition on Capitol Hill - to ensure two wins.

Rather drive through heavy snow or heavy rain?

Either one will do me. 300 page isn't long for a novel. If I must choose, I'll take the short stories, but I'm happy either way.

Cruise for enemy. I need all my fingers for piano.

Now............

A) Score 40 touchdowns in an NFL season, or
B) 80 home runs in an MLB season, or
C) 500 three-pointers in an NBA season, or
D) 8 goals in a single World Cup?

I choose D) 8 goals in the World Cup because I do not want to play a WHOLE SEASON of sports of any kind. Couple hours of World Cup and I'd be done! (I'm like this about exercise, at the end I always think "Thank god I don't have to do THAT again for 23.5 hours")

Chili's or Applebees? (Hmm, must be lunchtime...)

For clarification, I mean a World Cup tournament of 3-7 games, not just 1 game. So you'd be playing for anywhere between 4 to 13 hours.

Anyway, Applebee's.

$10,000 in cash, or a $20,000 shopper spending account at any (one and one only) store/business of your choice?

Hmmm. An airport is likely to be better temperature, but I can lock a car and keep my stuff and my person safe. So I pick car. That's why I keep that blanket I bought in Mexico in the trunk.

Would you rather be given a one-time lump sum of $1 million in pennies, or a $100 bill every week for the rest of your life?

$1 million in pennies. A hundred-dollar bill every week for the rest of my life would probably add up to only about $300,000.
