Aww. I'm truly flattered. If it makes you feel any better, I don't think he even knows my name.

I know, right? She rocks! BAM!

Also, for some reason I always get Velocity mixed up with Voyager when I see the username. Although not as bad as some others, like Trinopus and Tithonus.

I get Magiver (who was brilliantly stupid in the Benghazi thread) and Magellan (I think that's the name, anyway, but there's an 01 after it) mixed up all the time.

It only recently occurred to me, while re-reading the infamous "Could you knock out a chimpanzee" thread, that Magiver might be pronounced like the famous Richard Dean Anderson character MacGyver, rather than the way I always said it in my head, which was "Ma-Giver," as in someone who gives something to their Ma. Oh, and I pronounced Mangetout as "Man Get Out" for a long time, until somebody commented on the name and I realized it was French.

I recognize that name as French, still say it "man get out," and have no idea how to say it properly, or what it means

Mangetout beans? Ha! as in "Eat, toot!"

(Mange=eat, Tout=all... but pronounced "Too†")

<helpful>It's pronounced something almost but not quite entirely unlike "mange (as in the disease) toot". It means both "will eat it all" and "would eat anything". Also it's the name of a specific species of beans whose shell is almost as tasteful as the beans themselves, therefore you "eat all [of it]".</helpful>

Velocity keeps JAQing off. Just in the last day, I've asked him questions in two separate threads without response. I'm bumping this thread in case someone wants to comment on the JAQ-off without wasting a Start Thread click.

In yet a third recent thread, Velocity manages to invert the definition of political correctness:

Now, it's not remarkable at all that the CCP would clamp down within its own borders, but when Western companies and governments and scholars bend over backwards to accommodate Beijing on this, that's caving in to China-PC.
I think Velocity was being cutesy, extending the definition of "pc" so he could lump liberals with China's government. What was amusing is when Doltopus missed the ploy and, trying to defend Velocity, made fools of them both!

Fuck off, Dimwit Velocity!

I almost posted this in the recent Elections thread where Velocity laid another of his dimwitted turds.

No, I haven't fully connected the dots here. Let's see how many of you other dimwits even understand why this was a sarcastic rejoinder to the dimwitted thread about Joy Behar.
