The plot thickens. Using the Sutantine theme the titles do NOT appear in any posts, but only in portrait mode. If I switch to landscape mode I see the titles.

I'm sure you all thought I was crazy.

Happy, Happy, Joy, Joy from Ren & Stimpy.

"This is a song about a whale.
No! This is a song about being happy!"

“If I Had A Hammer” eventually involves singing about how the singer would sing a song, if only — hey, how about that! I do have a song to sing, about love between my brothers and my sisters, all over this land!

Jackson Browne's Stay.

Now the promoter don't mind
And the union don't mind
If we take a little time
And we leave it all behind and sing
One more song

Alice's Restaurant by Arlo Guthrie.

"If you want to end war and stuff you got to sing loud.
I've been singing this song now for twenty five minutes.
I could sing it for another twenty five minutes.
I'm not proud... or tired."

Let's get recursive. How about a Song Beneath the Song by Maria Taylor?

"... it's not a love song."

I don't really want to stop the show, but I thought you might like to know that the singer's going to sing a song and he wants you all to sing along...

Good Morning Starshine seems to discuss singing.

The Beatles' "And Your Bird Can Sing"? ::'wrong' buzzer::

The sadly overlooked yet awesome-chested Englebert Humperdink and "After the Lovin"

"And the singer's gonna sing the song, and he wants you all to sing along." - Paul

Mr. Croce:

Every time I tried to tell you
The words just came out wrong
So I'll have to say I love you in a song"

Dude who now looks like a Civil War widow (band might begin with an "A"):

Sing with me, sing for the year
Sing for the laughter, sing for the tear
Sing with me, just for today
Maybe tomorrow, the good Lord will take you away

Eddie Bear

whatever shit this creep is singing

The unhappy son...... all he wants... is just to...to, sing!

(heh, but then a bit later on, Herbert gets his revenge with his tell. )

Weird Al is big on this, because of course he is:

“Now I'm mumblin' and I'm screamin'! And I don't know what I'm singin'!”
“I was singin': my, my, this here Anakin guy may be Vader someday later...”
“I'm singin': I love Rocky Road, so weren't you gonna buy half a gallon, baby?”
“I never wrote the lyrics! So I'll just sing any old lyrics that come to mind, child!”

I love to go a-wandering
Along the mountain track
And as I go, I love to sing
My knapsack on my back

Val-deri, val-dera
Val-deri, val-dera
Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha

(not to mention the fact that I noticed this, oh, only two and a half weeks later.)

Atomic Rooster's Pete French yelling out "Sing!" all throughout "The Devil's Answer".

It's the singer not the song
That makes the music move along

First Aid Kit - The Lion's Roar

"Sometimes I wish I could find my Rosemary Hill
I'd sit there and look at the deserted lakes and I'd sing
And every once in a while I'd sing a song for you
That would rise above the mountains and the stars and the sea
And if I wanted it to it would lead you back to me"

Tennessee Flat Top Box. Although it could be said that's about the musician.
