I'm in Iowa, it's caucus night, and I feel crummy

I just got over one cold and caught another, and I'm going to skip the caucus because I really don't want to give this to my whole neighborhood.

I also hope that the junk mail and robocalls at least slow down for now.

Just imagine a grinning Trump. Get up, and on your feet.
(Can you just show up and vote, or do you have to participate in a big rigamarole?)

The election with Trump in it is still a ways off.

Oh, you knew that? Ok, why should Trump's grinning face help her go in and pull the lever for Gabbard over Biden?

Someone leaning Democratic is about to get a bunch of other people who lean Democrat sick. Congrats, Watson.

Stay home. Here's a note excusing you.

You must, must, must, must, must vote in the general, however.

It's refreshing to see on TV (which includes a local station going live) that so many people are there in my place. I'll definitely participate as much as I can in future elections.

My caucus site is also at an elementary school, and those kiddos don't need my germs, if it might be something that can live on surfaces overnight.

BTW, the Republican caucus announced Trump as the winner. And in further news, water is wet.

ETA: 35% are first-timers, although under-22s probably account for a large percentage of that. Too bad they don't write a "V" on their cheek, like they do at Rocky Horror screenings.
