Help finding a song

OK, this will be a long shot...

I heard this on the radio and wasn't able to take notes. The song is about a street or more probably 'avenue' and (I think) things that happened there. I can't remember who it was by but I think it was somebody like The Decemberists.

Sorry I know that's not much but I'd appreciate any help.

I'm pretty sure the name of the song was the name of the street - 5th Avenue (for example)

Jackson Browne's Boulevard and Journey's Don't Stop Believing both mention boulevards. Not avenues, but it was the first thing that came to mind for me.

Thank you for the suggestion but I found it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kXDiGtgPL6E

Wallflowers. Isn't it way, I looked for an hour before I posted then stumbled across it?

10th Avenue Freeze Out by Bruce Springsteen?
6th Ave Heartache by The Wallflowers?
Positively 5th Street by Bob Dylan?

First song with "Avenue" in the title to come to mind was "Electric Avenue" by Eddie Grant. Nothing like The Decemberists, but it's been covered by many artists.
