Latest pro-Trump painting offers chance to fill in your commentary

Pro-Trump artist Jon McNaughton are so over-the-top worshipful that they're immediately laugh-provoking to those not of his ideological bent.

His latest, The Masterpiece shows Trump about to draw back a curtain to reveal his Vision of America. Even if you weren't opposed to Trump and what passes for his philosophy, the portentous painting would invite parody. But if you don't like Trump, it's a goldmione for photoshopping:

Seriously, Donald. You need all those colors to paint a swastika? All those colors on the palette and your vision of the nation is one color?

I'm no art critic, I don't know if McNaughton's talent is good, bad, or indifferent. But Jesus, he needs to get deprogrammed.

I think it's funny that whatever Van Gogh or Monet is under that curtain, that he's pretending to paint, wasn't even ripped off by him, someone else (the artist of this painting) painted it so it looked like he did it. If this is his way of calling his term a masterpiece, it sure makes it look like someone else did the work and he's taking credit.

And yes, that's going to get photoshop/meme treatment quickly. It's almost like it was designed in a way that the internet gets to decide what the painting is.

Check out McNaughton's Facebook page and read the comments on this painting. Seriously, 30% of the country needs to be deprogrammed.

You, Jon, have done it again. Such magnificent detail, you have captured!
Our President Trump the prize of our country, will be remembered, as no other in history. Thank you for sharing your vision and appreciation for our leader.

He'll be remembered all right. Kind of like Londo from B5, only not as fondly.

Good! Thank you!

I don't know much about art, but I know that a love of Monet is the root of all evil! That's Scripture!

I'd always heard that when you're out of Monet, you're baroque.

I remember this guy from previous Pit stops. He's basically the Jack Chick of painting, isn't he?

If Trump was painting his vision of America, he'd only have white paint on his palette.

Nah, Lando actually wanted what he felt was best for his people (he just made an ill fated deal with the devil to get it.) Trump is much more in the Emperor Cartagia mold.

You're confusing Londo of Babylon 5 with Lando of Star Wars.

At least he isn't suing anyone for not putting his paintings in their museum.
