RE: what did Jesus look loke

I'm surprised Cecil didn't pursue this further--since Jesus was Jewish(and there was not a lot of intermarriage) wouldn't his hair been darker, curlier, and his nose would have been different, and darker eyes

This question is about as valid as a discussion on how thick a unicorn horn is, what temperature a dragon's fire reaches, and the length of Pinocchio's nose.

First, we need to establish the Jesus existed, at least the Jesus of supernatural tendencies. Then, and only then, does it make the slightest sense to talk about his physical attributes. Or his loke.

I thought Slug's illustration took care of that.

The Levant was a crossroads of Europe, Asia, and Africa for many thousands of years before the time of Jesus. Then, as NOW, you might see a wide range of looks. While it's safe to say that Jesus was unlikely to have looked like a native of Scandinavia, it's as impossible to definitively say what he would have looked like. A Lebanese, Assyrian, Palestinian, or Egyptian person can look like they would 100% pass as a native of central Europe, or they can look like they're South Asian or North African. Just depends on the individual. It's a region of great genetic diversity.

I used this link because out of the ones I tried, it had the best image.

The funny thing is that Kenny Loggins could easily pass as a native of Palestine, Syria, Lebanon or Iraq, as well as Greece. He has a face straight out of a Byzantine mosaic. According to Wikipedia he's half Italian. I'm guessing the ancestry is from the south of that country, like most Americans, although those features can appear anywhere.
