What food can a commercial retailer feed frogs?

The for pond use bullfrog tadpoles are losing their tails. What can the frogs be fed that can be purchased for a reasonable price. They're not pets so telling me flies can be caught and hand fed to them is not scoring you any positive points.

In our lab, we feed our african clawed frogs a fine substance called "frog brittle." Sounds like part of a Monty Python sketch. Dunno if this kibble has what bullfrogs need.

They are in a tank with about 50 fish. There are some floating platforms. I don't think crickets are going to work. Is there something they can eat that is not alive?

How do you feed them that? Do they eat it floating on the water, or sunk to the bottom? It's in nuggets for adult frogs.

Adult Bullfrogs need fairly big food - up to baby mice. You might want to talk with some local enthusiast.

The nuggets float for a time, then sink. Most of our frogs eat while the nuggets are still floating, but like I say--different species. They also eventually disintegrate, leaving nasty clouded water, so that may be a strong downside for you. In the past, we also fed our frogs ground up beef hearts. I don't remember why we stopped doing that.

We weren't sure they would eat food that was floating in water. I'll let them know there is a food that comes like this.

This is all I need folks. Everyone thanks for the help.
