I like this spooky Progressive commercial with the husband turning into his parents; first because I think the premise is amusing, and second because I like the cute bunny-teeth actress. I don't know who she is but she's been in lots of commercials.

A local dealership called John Heister Chevrolet has a long-running string of commercials featuring some use of the catchphrase "Get off your keister and come to Heister." The overly serious tone of this one is refreshingly funny for some reason.

I've mentioned the Progressive Motaur commercials before. Well, the Motaur is so badass he drinks gasoline. Kids, don't try this at home.

I like one commercial for Southern New Hampshire University (knowing nothing about this institution) because it says something so important so simply. You can find it here at 00:12.

"The world in which we live equally distributes talent, but it doesn't equally distribute oppportunity, and paths are not always the same."

I like the slow turkey ads. But I do have a minor bone to pick on one. The turkey is on the roof of the building, looking out the binoculars and doing a selfie with a pigeon. Then he walks to the elevator which has.... up and down buttons? He's on the roof- he can't go up.

Apologies if it's been said but....

I like the Indeed commercial with Claire who was passed up for the VP job. The actress playing Claire does a really good job with her facial expressions showing the heartbreak of losing, the excitement of getting the interview request then the smug "fuck you all" of knowing she's gonna get it.

Good on her.

I like the Chantix turkey. Though he has a much nicer house, better car, and goes to much more interesting places in the car than I ever will.

I like the Muppets Facebook Portal commercial (although I really don't know what they're selling).

Miss Piggy: "And of course Moi is on TV..."

Statler & Waldorf: "NOBODY CARES!"

Still makes me laugh.

While it's too damn early for Christmas commercials, at least QVC is running an amusing one.

There's a cute Uber (stay flexible) commercial with a cute older lady and her dog Buddy who drives for Uber. (Buddy doesn't drive). She drives for as many hours as she wants a week.

Sorry if this has been posted, but I just saw the :15 second version of this commercial, Duracell - Extra Life, Extra Power https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XrOBVN5Lapc and literally laughed out loud. Found the :30 second version and LOL again!

I hate the idea of promoting a commercial, but this is the very rare exception!

Edit: Just watched it again. Still funny! The final close-up of the girl in couch does it for me!

I actually like Jon Hamm's ads for SkipTheDishes (a Canadian service like UberEats or Doordash). The most recent includes my favourite gags. Although the 'spa-jetty' gag from the 'being a celebrity isn't easy' one is good, too.

I want to be the Chantix turkey. Great slow paced life, savoring every moment.

Love the Mayhem commercials- the cat, the dog, and now the mother-in-law. The costar in the latter two has great chemistry with him, hope we see more of her.

Tina Fey? I liked those commercials less because having a celebrity added takes the focus away from Mayhem.

Didn't realize it was her. I think it's great fun to have someone for Mayhem to interact with.

He was her love interest on 30 Rock, so there is established chemistry. He called her dummy a lot, hence the line in the commercial by her "who is the dummy now?".

Interestingly, this same commercial appeared recently in the "again with the annoying commercials" thread.

Yes to both.... I commented in #357 that I envy that turkey.

Frito-lay has a long "My Favorite Things" commercial starring Anna Kendrick that's pretty funny. I saw it during NBC's Macy parade coverage, but I bet it gets shortened in later showings.

This commercial moved me to tears. It's a new short film from Comcast in which E. T. returns to Earth and reunites with a grown-up Elliot, played by Henry Thomas from E. T.: The Extraterrestrial.

https://youtu.be/Pdgk3ERKdug

I know this has been posted in another thread, but I thought everybody would enjoy it here, too.

Ugh. Eight pages.

Welp, I canít be using up the whole day trying to see if this has been submitted yet. It really supports the argument that even though professional football is a useless activity, Super Bowl commercials make it all worthwhile.

Farmers Insurance.

I like this Ameritrade commercial. Would you believe it smartly spoofs the opening of a popular TV show from the 60s?

Everyone has seen the creepy Peloton "hostage video", where the husband gifts his wife an exercise bike and forces her to vlog her training and show it to him for his approval.

Aviation Gin got the same actress for a commercial showing the aftermath. It's brilliant in its subtlety.

I like this anti texting and driving PSA. It's a little old, but still being shown. This unlucky guy gets mugged, struck by lightning, and his airplane catches fire, but he won't push his luck by texting while driving.

I like this commercial for Best Buy with the choir soloist taking too long singing about the partridge in a pear tree. His fancy riffing is what I do not like about many pop stars doing Christmas songs. But I do enjoy the commercial.

The commercial where the car (I can't remember the brand) is zipping through backgrounds made of animated wrapping paper is fun to watch.

I've also been enjoying the variants of the Lincoln commercial where the lady drives up the fancy driveway to her fancy house, opens the door, beholds children wreaking havoc, and promptly retreats to her car.
