Yes, Mr.Wrekker insists I know how to shoot his guns. They are really loud. I hate guns. I am a big ole' peace-nik. But learn I must.

No, but I have been on a movie set, where it was done. It was a Western, and the gun specialist (not sure what else to call him) loaded it, handed it off to the costumed stuntman who would fire it, cameras rolled, the stuntman fired, cameras stopped, and we did it again--as I recall, maybe six or eight takes.

Not me, but my children were extras on the set of a civil war movie (for TV) that was filmed in our area. They had a great time.

Just one.* A wild and "stinky" one. He (and it was definitely a 'he' ) stayed around the island for several months interacting with several swimmers, snorkelers, and scuba divers.

Have you ever ridden an animal other than a horse?

* Not me in the linked report. Just an example of one of many interactions Stinky had with people in Cayman.

No, but I've lived in Mexico and visited northern Mexico including Laredo and Monterrey. The closest I've been to NM is San Antonio which must be 250 miles away.
I planned a trip to NM a few years ago but it didn't happen I look forward to visiting one day in the not-too-distant future. Here's one of the places I'd love to see: https://golondrinas.org/

I lost a wallet at a flea market. I remembered where I had it last and backtracked. Found the wallet but all the money was gone. They left the cards, which was a pleasant surprise.

Yes, I had to be out of town on a work day when I was supposed to make a presentation. So I made a Youtube video, emailed the link and had a co-worker show it.

Yes. Years ago, I lived near a burger-and-beer place. One of the items on the menu was a buffalo burger. I had one from time to time; it was kind of like beef, but with a little more flavour. Yes, I liked it.

Yes, but not as a patient. Many years ago, a friend suffered a horrific accident, and they made an exception to the "family only" rule, just in case, so a few of us visited her in the ICU. I'm glad to report that my friend eventually recovered after a long period of time in the hospital, but was left a paraplegic.

Yes, I've heard her recordings; here's one (not Bach) that I like: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IOWN5fQnzGk
Violinists I've heard live include Midori, Joshua Bell, Pinchas Zukerman and Nadja Salerno-Sonnenberg.

Yes. When I was maybe 12 or so, we vacationed at a place up north. The local town was about 7 miles away, but it didn't seem that far when we took the car. One day, I decided to go to town, and set off on foot. It was longer than I thought, but I kept going. I got to town, but had to call my (very worried) parents to pick me up.

Yep. Here (western PA) to Hilton Head is about 700 miles. Brutal drive right after work. Once on arrival I was stretching/groaning. A woman approached me, commiserating. Turns out she was complaining about the limo ride from the airport.

No, but a neighbor called 911 for me when she saw a drug-addled teen casually take my lawn mower from my garage one day. Then she ran to my house and told me about it. I had just finished cutting the grass and was sitting on the patio with a cold adult beverage

Yes. I had finished reading a book called "Drawing On the Right Side of the Brain", and did a self-portrait using a purple marker. I cheated, however, and did the portrait with me wearing a pair of sunglasses.

Yes, kind of. Years and years ago, before E-Z Pass, I thought I had enough change to go through one of those unstaffed toll booths where coins get thrown in a metal basket and fall into a slot. I must have mistaken a nickel for a quarter or something and had to wait, cringing, with cars honking behind me, until an employee came and gave me change for a dollar bill.

Yes, but "almost too afraid" rather than too afraid to sleep at all. It was a while back and I don't remember the film.
And after seeing Schindler's List I was too sad and afraid to sleep for over an hour and then when I did fall asleep I had nightmares.

Have you ever flown in a helicopter? (I haven't, is there more of a sensation of flying compared to a commercial plane flight?)

No, but I once flew on a hovercraft, which my older brother made. He towed me around the yard. It wasn't powerful enough to carry anyone heavier.

Yes, at least 4 times. My kids' schools always marched in our local St Patrick's Day parade, and parents were invited to march behind them. One cold and rainy parade day they marched playing their instruments, and (as you can imagine) hearing "The Minstrel Boy" played unsteadily by young kids gets really old after the first minute.

I've certainly seen a few "dine and dashes" at the local sports bar. Technically, it's theft. Usually, I don't know about them until the barman starts running, and when he comes back, asks me, "Spoons, did you see that guy?" I'm not afraid to speak up; it's just that I don't see what's happening until after it takes place.

Yes, many times. Somehow, and unintentionally, I always managed to find a place to live that was within a five or ten minute walk of a public library. It made no sense to drive such a short distance.
