My, but you certainly are full of excuses. If I didn't know better, I'd think you were ugly.

Speaking of which, I should probably provide an updated photograph to demonstrate the ravages and shocking deterioration of the past couple of years.

My, but you certainly are full of attempts to get me to post a photo. If I didn't know better, I'd think you had some ulterior motive.

Your logic does not compute. We would gladly accept pictures of you running, showering, or raiding. And if you raid, you must be able to multi-task. Unless you are twinked out with multiple UIs and tankbots.

I've interpreted this as an open invitation. Your order has been received and the portrait you've requested will be delivered in the next update.

Checking calendar - yup, this is the 21st century, for a second there I thought I had travelled back in time.

New, revised plan of attack. Once you are successful, skip remaining steps.
  1. Take photo with cell phone, transfer to computer, e-mail.
  2. Ask more technologically advanced friend to take photo with their cellphone, e-mail to you, you forward to me.
  3. Use your digital camera to take a self-portrait, transfer to computer, e-mail.
  4. Ask more technologically advanced friend to take photo with their digital camera and transfer to computer, e-mail to you, you forward to me.
  5. Move to area where digital pictures are not a once-in-lifetime event, make friends there, and restart at 1.

Haven't seen your e-mail yet, eagerly expecting it, but please remember that gallery is supposed to be SFW.

Now wait a minute, *I'm* Ugly, dammit!

But we definitely need more of those doper pictures. Shower shots are fine, but send them to me for preview just in case.

Psh, I'm not going to apologize for having fun with people who'd rather be doing things than taking pictures of each other doing them.

You know, I always find it odd when I'm out and I see large groups of people (usually girls) taking pictures. "What was that? Was that a flash? Why are they snapping pictures in the restaurant?" I think some people like to photographically document everything they do. I only have photos of myself engaged in the following: Vacations... and, that's pretty much it. Occasionally someone wants a photo of me, and persist through my resistance that I just give in and let them take the damn thing.

Which is funny, cuz the only thing vacation pictures do for me is remind me that I'm at work, looking at pictures of a vacation that is OVER!

Ha ha! I don't have pictures of any kind at work. I try not to even look out of the window on sunny days, because I'll start weeping uncontrollably.

I know this is hard to believe about me, but I don't generally hang out at the DMV for fun. (I also do not now have, nor have I ever had, a driver's license.)

My state ID, however, is due to expire this summer. Fortunately, there's an office right downtown that I seem to recall was pretty quiet during the day the last time I went.

Heh. I knew a guy who years ago actually convinced the pinheads at the Ohio BMV that he was a druid and didn't want to have his photo taken "because I'm afraid it will capture my soul." So there was a blank gray space on his license with Religious Objection in tiny print instead.

I sit corrected. Shot from Guns is not a socialite on the DMV circuit, and if she ever changes her mind, she need only convert to Druidry.

Yes, but then at least one of us would have to stop having fun to take the pictures.

Speaking personally, I'm just too lazy, generally speaking, or it just doesn't occur to me to bring a camera. I do have a few awesome photos from the last time I bothered to bring a camera to a friend's house, which includes such awesome things as my friend Mike licking a glass plate clean and his now-wife Emily coming at me with tongs.

I usually don't update the gallery twice in one week, but after everybody was picking on poor Shot From Guns and she sent in photos, I felt obligated to put them up toot sweet. Usually I try to keep the gallery SFW, but since melodyharmonius dared Shot From Guns to send in a shower picture, and Shot From Guns did send in a shower picture, I thought it would be churlish not to put that photo in the gallery also. Just be careful when going to her "extra photos" page if you are browsing from work.

Added new photos to the gallery: Shot From Guns.

Keep on sending in those photos!

Gah! I was just at Target replacing my trusty flatiron which, after 9 years of dutiful service, has passed away. *sniffle*

True story: I was cleaning my tub recently, and was growing annoyed with how difficult it was to get the shower curtain clean. I declared to myself aloud (yes, I talk to myself out loud... a lot -- don't judge me!) "You know, it would be easier to just throw the damn thing away and buy a new one. How much are shower curtains anyway? Like 20 bucks? Is this misery really worth $20 to you?" So after perusing Target's website just now, I've decided that I am buying a new shower curtain today after work.

1.) This is why I have a cleaning person. For the love of god, treat yourself to one if you possibly can.

2.) Shower curtain != shower curtain liner. And it's the liners that get groady. And they're even cheaper--you're looking at maybe $5.

I'm not made of house cleaners, woman!

I just use my curtain, and then my curtain gets dirty, and I hate it. Why didn't I buy a shower liner a million years ago? Duh. Buy a curtain you like, buy a cheap liner for $3, throw liner away when it gets dirty, keep curtain. Shazam!

They're not as expensive as you might think. Mine comes every two weeks, for about two hours at a time, and it costs me $50. That's it.

WTF, how do you have a shower curtain with no liner? That just sounds bizarre to me. Of course, my curtain is actually fabric, so pulling it inside the tub to keep the water from spraying all over during a shower would just result in a sopping wet curtain.
