Which vaccines contain animal by-products?

I heard there are at least nine vaccines that contain animal by-products: polio, tetanus, diptheria…
Does anyone know the others? Links appreciated.
Thanks, Sakurako

Flu vaccines are grown in egg cultures–they warn you not to take the vaccine if you are allergic to eggs. So I guess they must contain some egg.

An FDA release updated in January of this year:

www.fda.gov/cber/bse/bse.htm#usda
listed certain companies’ vaccines for diptheria, tetanus, pertussis, influenza, anthrax, polio, and PPV. It’s possible that other companies have vaccines on the market that are manufactured in a different way and do not contain animal by-products. This page only refered to possible BSE contamination, so vaccines using animals other than cattle or from cattle in non-BSE areas wouldn’t be listed.

Also, I think gel-caps are made from animal hooves, so any drug product in that form would have animal byproducts.

Sorry, my mistake, PPV is the appreviation of the vaccine, not the disease. The vaccine is against pneumococcal bacterial infection, which can lead to pneumonia, meningitis, and bacteremia.
