That Saturn commercial.

You know the one. It shows an entire neighborhood driving cars that look like cardboard boxes. Everything is very bland. Then a saturn turns around the corner, mesmerizing everyone. Good commercial I think. Effective. Memorable.

But… Why would they have the Saturn be silver/grey? It’s a god color and all, but for such a commercial like this, wouldn’t a red one be better. A bigger contrast to the cardboard box cars. Or would red over stimulate the cardboard boxcar people?:stuck_out_tongue:

Not only id it a “god” colour, silver denotes “classyness” where red could be looked upon as being too sporty.

Rule # 47. Any attempt to point out a spelling inconsistency will include a typo.

That’s called “Gaudere’s Law”, DrFidelius.

I don’t really care for Saturns, but their commercials have just been awesome lately.
