Howard Stern and Clear Channel.

So CC is taking him off their stations for awhile for something a guest said on Tuesday. What I can’t seem to find is who the guest was and what was said/done.

Any help on this one?

Clear Channel Radio suspended Stern from six stations — the only outlets among its 1,200 stations that air the show — after an on-air interview Tuesday with socialite Paris Hilton’s ex-boyfriend Rick Salomon during which a caller used a racial slur. Salomon is the man involved in the hotel heiress’ infamous homemade sex video.

Stern asked Salomon if he engaged in anal sex and referred to the size of his penis. But then to top the evening off, a caller was tapped into the show and asked Salomon, using a racist term, if he had ever had sex with any famous black women.

He didn’t need the “dump” button. It’s been the same show for 20 years, and the exact same schtick has always been acceptable.

Clear Channel claims it was the “last straw”.
