For my wife’s upcoming birthday, I want to make her one of her favorite cakes:
the spice cake (white icing) they served in the dining halls at the University of Virginia when she was a student there (1983-87). I don’t have the recipe, nor have I ever had the cake (I didn’t go to TJU).
If someone could post the recipe (or your favorite spice cake recipe), I’d be eternally grateful.
