Scientists Say Everyone Can Read Minds

Not from the Golbe this time, but from Yahoo. This is the tantalizing title of an article now online:

The article, while interesting, doesn’t live up to the title’s implications. Good thing, too. I’m not sure I’d want Pepper Mill to know exactly what’s going through my mind.

Interesting ideas, and one that fits perfectly into the framework of existing neurology, psychology, and sociology without raising even a hint of new age weirdness. All it really amounts to is “we’re a heckuva lot more empathetic than we realized.”

That’s fascinating, I wonder if people who are diagnosed as psychopathic use those “mirror neurons” or not.
