I may have the chance to go see the Spanish Riding School of Vienna’s Lippizaners perform this weekend. Is it worth the time? I’d have to miss a Steel Magnolias themed party to go, so it’s not without sacrifice on my part.
I was able to watch them rehearse while on vacation in Vienna, and I was very impressed. I’d never seen any kind of dressage before, and I was incredilbly impressed with what those horses could do. Go see them. You won’t regret it.

I have seen them perform several times. If you like horses at all, go . It is a beautiful show, just awe-inspiring.
Go.
I’ve seen them. They are worth it. Trust me.
My parents assure me that we saw them live when I was about three; I absolutely don’t remember. But I have seen them on television and was very impressed–I think the themed party would have to be really something, to trump it.
I’ve seen them twice. Go.
My mom and I saw them a few years ago. The only thing we didn’t like was one “bit” involving the “unwitting crowd member” who made it down to the floor and “accidentally” got on one of the horses and started riding. (You know the schtick.) We felt as though it were cheesy and demeaning to the horses and riders. But we loved the rest of it.
It’s a GAY Steel Magnolias party. It will be something.
Drink your juice, Shelby.
I saw them in Vienna (rather unwillingly) a couple of years ago. The interest factor wore off after about ten minutes. It really depends on whether you like horses, enjoy watching dressage etc. I don’t particularly.
