Been hearing this melody (played by a bunch of session musicians) on a recent
Rooms to Go commercial. It seems like too much of a coincidence that it
sounds like that Ramones song-or it is?

You know, I saw the commercial and thought “Why that song?”

So it wasn’t as subliminal as the weird “I Got You Babe” Caribbean remix that’s in the background of some commercial (can’t remember what it is right now).

Are you referring to the UB40 cover of the song?

I don’t know who does it. All I do know is that it’s that song and it’s got island infleunces on it.
