Firefox 2.0 and spell check

I went to Firefox 2.0, which has some nice features, including a built in spell checker. One problem is that the ‘add to dictionary’ is right below the choice of words, making it easy to click that by mistake. How do I get into that and undo my addition of my non-word? And is there a easy way to add more space between 'add to dictionary and the choices?

The only way to remove words from the dictionary is to directly edit the persdict.dat file which is found in your Firefox profile.

In Windows XP the file is located here:

C:\ Documents and Settings\ [username] \ Application Data\ Mozilla\ Firefox\ Profiles[profile]

Once you get there you can edit the persdict file with Notepad or any other text editor. Simply delete the words you don’t want, save, and restart Firefox.

Long-winded, I know, but it works. Maybe FF will get round to adding a simpler method in a coming update.
