Just upgraded Thunderbird to 3.0.2 and it is totally weird. Everything fills the screen, but the left pane, where I had several different folders to keep incoming mail is gone, and can’t get it back no matter what I do.
What is with this? I had some important mail in those folders, now can’t find them.
Is there any way to fix this, or go back to the previous ver 3 I had?

OK, somebody on the TB forum solved it for me. All I had to do is move the cursor to the left edge, and when the double arrow appears, drag it to the right, and there are my folders.
Why in the world they could not have left the page layout as it was, and let people drag it to the left if they did not want it, is beyond me. I wasted about an hour reading the help files, and trying every menu item on top with no answer.
I neglected to create a Restore Point before updating. I should know better by now, as in most cases am never happy with updates that just complicate things.
Grumble, grumble.
