Who writes those chalk messages

…every Thursday at Bryn Mawr and Broadway? Always something positive about hope, potential, etc. They’ve been popping up just recently every Thursday morning…

Where are they at exactly? I pass through that intersection every morning (by way of Ridge). I’ve never seen anything like that.

I’ve seen them too. South side of Bryn Mawr, if you walk west from Winthrop toward the Red Line and (obviously) look down. Said something along the lines of “You are loved” and “Be the change you want to be” most recently.

As for who writes them, I have no idea. Can’t say I’ve seen them every Thursday, although it’s not like I went to work on Thanksgiving, so who knows.

Love those Bryn Mawr/Broadway pics. I grew up on 5400 block of Lakewood. Bryn Mawr was on the way to almost everywhere…Ardmore Beach, the “L” station and a 7th grade girlfriend on Winthop. Memory serves, Stoyas had a luncheon counter on the right as you walked in the door.

Sorry to resurrect this thread, but…I found the answer:
