Damn, wrong lake. BTW, that guy is probably my favorite character in the movie. Didn’t hurt that he was channeling my Grandfather. “So they told me I should call it in, so I called it in. End of story.”

No, he’s just cheap. He went to the airport long-term parking garage to steal a license plate from another car. The ransom exchange happens later.

And when he’s leaving that parking garage! Well, talk about cheap.
