Pick the assult weapon to ban

OK, everybody wants to ban assault weapons. Fine, look at the pictures and pick the weapons that should be banned because they are assault weapons. Remember we don’t want to ban legitimate sporting weapons, only assault rifles.

Those are all the same gun.

I voted A because I wouldn’t mind a law only banning eye-wateringly ugly guns.

Do we want to ban assault weapons or assault rifles? Because that’s not an assault rifle, and of the various configurations, it’s only an assault weapon in C, I think.

All, since I’m in favor of banning privately owned guns in general.

EDIT: Although I’d prefer to start with banning handguns.

Are these all .22 caliber rifles with 10-round magazines? They’ll kill people, sure, but as far as assault rifles go, let’s start with the M16s and AKs.

Ahh, ok. I get it.

Grin! Me too…

And I certainly agree that other weapons are much higher on the list than a mere .22. I hold high cycle-rate and concealability (tiny little pocket-sized handguns) to be much more dangerous features than stocks and grips.

(A friend showed me how to turn an Uzi into a nearly-fully-automatic weapon, by hanging it from a shoulder strap and letting the recoil activate the trigger. If you balance it just right, it really rips. A weapon with a lower cycle rate would not be amenable to this kind of “modification.” Too many gunsmiths know how to modify SA to FA; guns with lower cycle rates are less dangerous, even if converted.)
