I believe you misheard. Terry Bradshaw called Chris Long his nephew, he then asked Howie Long how many sacks Chris had for the season. Howie replied that he didn’t know and everyone replied sceptically, assuming Howie would know all of Chris’ stats by heart.

Yes that is exactly how it happened.
Howie Long sometimes jokes that Bradshaw is “the older brother he wishes he never had!” So, Bradshaw was jokingly calling Long’s son “his nephew”. I didn’t get it either, at the time. I was like, “what?”
