Lego Wolfenstein 3-D

I released Lego Wolf3D about 18 months ago.
http://drdanick.com/legowolf3d/

Features:

Dismemberment and blood (but unlike other Lego games the pieces never disappear)

“Wolf Pack” (Wolfenstein Pacman) (outdated video)

A nudity cheat: (but they leave their hats on) (BTW “BJ” is the game’s hero)

“Headshot” cheat:

I chose Lego and Wolfenstein 3-D because I like it but also because it is easy to model and animate. The Lego minifigures don’t bend like in other Lego games… that way they’re much easier to animate.

The idea about nudity and gore came from:

Funny. I just posted your link on Romero’s wall.

Hi where is that? Is it on Facebook somewhere?

Yes, Facebook. He said he hadn’t seen it before and said it looked great.

Looks cool!

As a non-gamer who knows nothing about it, I recognize that it is pretty cool. How long did it take, JC?

 BTW I tried going here

and liking it but can’t see any mention of Lego in the right column…

It took from early 2008 to late 2012.

I also tried following John Romero but couldn’t see anything… I’d love to see a screenshot or something of it

I tried to add him as a friend but it said:

This is relevant to my interests. I recently found out I can get free and legal copies of 3DS Max, Maya and Visual Studio. I’m semi-lazily working on a platformer - just for fun, really.

I’ll try your game out when I get a chance, and I’ll rate it on Mod DB too.

How though? I only know how to get trial versions. Are they student versions?

Well they’re “academic” version, or something. I’m not a student, but apparently I qualify as someone who works at a university.

Whoops, I just realized I posted it to MY wall and tagged him. Here’s a cropped screenshot.

Awesome!
