Unless Oregon’s defense is much better than it was last week, I’m not seeing this game as a win for them. (Just kibbitzing, not voting.)

As usual, I pick the maximum number of SEC teams to lose and the minimum number of Big Ten teams. I may not score well, but if I ever do it will be doubly satisfying.

Game Day is coming to East Lansing! Woo hoo! And the Goodyear Blimp. Personally, I feel a bit cheated when lesser blimps like the Met Life Blimp are used. But I do miss the big silver Goodyear blimps of old, the newer yellow and blue ones aren’t as majestic.

Michigan State was not overly impressive in their opener against whatever directional MAC school they played.

It was at Western Michigan, the biggest game ever played in Kalamazoo so the opposition was probably playing a bit above their talent level. Everybody improves more between their first and second weeks than at any other time in the year, I expect the Spartans to be more than ready to pluck the Ducks.

Oregon looked terrible and as much as I hate to pick them to lose I don’t see any way for them to win. On the other end of the spectrum I think BYU will be riding high after their narrow victory over nebraska so I think they’ve got a chance to upset Boise.

LSU is a different upset I think by missing last week they’re going to be in a weird position and they aren’t going to be prepared.

Umm … don’t I get to be +3/4 :confused:? My submission & the scores & your crosstable show that.
It’s not that I mind being paired with yellowjacketcoder (not that there’d be anything wrong with that [that I know of :)]) but seeings how I’m unlikely to to reach the lofty heights of 75% again, I’d kinda like it displayed accurately for posterity,
Now if my ranting last season about Boise State not being a state carries a −1 penalty I wasn’t aware of :smack:, well, okay :(.
I’d thought the indignity of my alma mater, the Arizona Wildcats, losing in the Fiesta Bowl to Boise State (it’s not a state!) was punishment enough :o.
