14th Human Foot washes ashore

A 14th human foot — this one in a hiking boot — washes ashore in Canada

Seriously, wasn't this a Bones episode?

Damn! I should follow Canadian news more. I missed out on the first 13.

So many questions -- do these feet belong to seven people? Do any two of them belong to the same person? What's the distribution of left and right feet? What's the distribution of male vs. female? What's the distribution of different races?

At least it's no longer an unlucky number.

I've sort of loosely followed this story over the years, but had forgotten about it. Interesting that it's still ongoing. Ok so serial killer or North Koreans that made it really far?

Sounds like the work of an arch villain. The authorities should take steps to nail the heel responsible.

On a slightly more serious note, perhaps this is the sharks' way of sending us a message?

Is this the same place where all the right feet washed up on one beach, and all the left feet on another? Or did I just imagine that detail?

At first I misread the thread title as being about a 14-foot human, which was even more intriguing.

I think the investigators started off on the right foot, but became rather footloose, and now the shoe is on the other foot.

So, the seabed off British Columbia is littered with human feet still encased in oxfords and black pumps?

IOW, what you're saying is wearing Florsheims or Louboutin‎s, but not Nikes, is causing the sea level to rise one foot at a time.

How dirty is that Canadian shore that it takes 14 feet to wash it?

Isn't foot washing a religious thing? Maybe this is a sole cleansing attempt.

I know, right! Or was it left? Give'm an inch and they'll take a foot. Of course, you shouldn't judge people until you've walked a a mile in their shoe.

That's just a boat; to be a yacht it has to be at least a foot longer.

I thought it was only left feet. Your question didn't get answered, so I guess I need to check.

Well, that was fast. Wikipedia has a table. It's only 14 if you restrict yourself to the Canadian side of the bay. There were also 5 in the US.

With the number of cases increasing, we will soon have to call in a tow truck to haul around the evidence!

I did note that one of the finds was missing for 24 years before being found! A true case of cold feet about making an appearance.
