Trump *celebrates* 9/11 anniversary

And I mean CELEBRATES. Look at the pic at the link - he is PUMPED over this occasion.

9/11, fuck yeah! is his clear attitude. Good Lord.

Trump's problem is that he's really fuckin dumb, and lacks empathy entirely. Ok, that's 2. He's got lots of problems, then, mainly centered around stupidity and selfishness.

Take a close-up look at the face of the security guy on Melanie's (anatomical) left. He's wearing an expression which screams out "What the FUCK is wrong with you?"

He could just be squinting in the sunlight, of course. But I prefer the first interpretation.

I think both the security guys have a bit of a "WTF dude?" look on their faces.

Imagine what kind of stuff they've seen every day of the last two years, and now imagine him posturing like this on 9/11 of all days.

When I heard on NPR this morning that Trump was giving a speech in Shanksville today, I naturally assumed that it would just be another "Trump" speech that had little or nothing to do with "9/11".

At least he didn't say something stupid like "I prefer people who didn't die on 9/11."

He'd have to go a ways to beat his interview on 9/11/2001:

Quote:
40 Wall street actually was the second-tallest building in downtown Manhattan, and it was actually before the World Trade Center the tallest, and and then when they built the World Trade Center it became known as the second-tallest, and now it’s the tallest And I just spoke to my people, and they said it’s the most unbelievable sight, it’s probably seven or eight blocks away from the World Trade Center, and yet Wall Street is littered with two feet of stone and brick and mortar and steel …

"Terrorism is bad, but there's good and bad people on both sides...."

There is little Trump can do or say about 9/11 that would be useful or helpful. He is such a bellicose and dishonest piece of human filth that even if he read from a script written by a humane, educated saint, the baggage his voice inflicts on any utterance would stain the message beyond meaning. The second best thing he could do for this country would be to give us 24 hours of silence.

The picture that the White House did post on Twitter was apparently from last year. It includes Omarosa, Hope Hicks and Ty Cobb in the crowd, for example:

https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump/...89954223542274

(This is not the horribly unsettling picture from the OP. This is a different, more minor, bit of incompetence.)

Meh. Looks like it was posted early this morning; meaning last year's picture was still (for a few hours more) the most recent 'celebration' photo. If you want to get something out early, you need to go with an old picture.

They have these new-fangled digital camera's these days, where a picture can be posted almost immediately after it was taken - no need to wait on a darkroom.

So take a new picture, or just post without a picture.

I'm not saying it's the greatest offense in the world. But the text of that tweet was

"Departing Washington, D.C. to attend a Flight 93 September 11th Memorial Service in Shanksville, Pennsylvania with Melania."

alongside a picture clearly centered on President and Melania Trump. Which certainly reads, to me, as if it's intended to be a caption for the attached picture. Rather than a description of action taking place currently accompanied for some reason by a picture from a year ago.

I believe "other people losing their lives" refers to victims other than the first responders.
I hope.

Yeah, I'm sure that what Sanders was trying to say was that we should honor the people who lost their lives in the process of trying to help other people. But she screwed it up by talking about how people lost their lives and then jumping directly to how people helped in that process. But let's cut her some slack; it's not like being able to clearly communicate a simple pre-scripted message is part of her job or anything.

Let's provide some context. Pumped to see his supporters after exiting the plane.

Not that it matters. Because, you know, Trump.

Yup. The context is that Trump cares more about people fawning over him than he does about thousands of deaths.

Sure, he's so excited to be surrounded by adoring fans who happily lap up every lie that comes out of his sewer for a mouth. In fact, that expression makes him look like the happiest kid on the short bus.

No one thinks he’s actually fist pumping 9-11. The fact he’s fist pumping at all, and using 9-11 bask in the glory of his fawning admirers, is the problem.

Yeah, so in that situation you give a little wave, maybe a nod of the head. Unless you're fuckin stupid like Trump is. Then you act as though the guy on third just beat a throw at the plate. Because, you know, Trump sets new standards for stupidity, selfishness and cluelessness.

He was just arriving at the airport, right? When does the solemnity kick in, after he brushes his teeth?

And let's put this post in context. You regularly pop into every anti-Trump thread to gripe at people. You do everything in your power to discredit any attempts at pointing out Trump's bad behavior. You've even admitted that you do this on purpose.

Hence why you're doing this, without even pausing to think that your context wouldn't matter in the slightest. You just had to have a kneejerk way to defend him.

Pumped in a situation where people might be expected to act with solemnity and dignity, and he fell well short of what many of us consider basic decency. Toward, you know, the victims that were being memorialized. Remember them? I don't think he did, he thought "yay supporters! "

Yes, people don't appreciate how difficult it is for somebody like Trump who doesn't have human feelings and has to go through life having somebody tell him how normal people would act in a situation.

Trump had been listening to his "get pumped" song on repeat on the way to the airport.
