Magic Hat brewery in Burlington is having a huge bash, since their flagship beer is called #9. I was thinking about checking it out (it goes from like 6 PM to 10 PM, or something) but instead I’ll probably just stay in and be a bum.

:o Magic Hat #9, what a great idea! I think I’ll get my husband to stop at the liquor store (not difficult) on the way home from buying The Beatles: Rock Band tonight.

It’s my birthday as well and I just posted the same info in the other niner thread, but here it is:
I took goodies to work and passed them around, came home and my cousin called and took me to an Italian place for a fine lunch, and then I went and picked my mom up from surgery (just cataracts).

Man, I was all ready.
My math curriculum has numbers of the day.
I wrote on the board: “Number of the day: 9!”
I wrote: “How many ways can you make 9?”
I mentioned to the kids that it was 9/09/09, and that we’d do some fun activities with it.
And then I completely freakin’ forgot about it for the rest of the day.
Dammit!

Had lunch today at a fast food place that time-stamped “09/09/09” on the receipt, savoured my food, drank to the auspicious day, and then went home and sent out ‘Happy 09/09/09’ emails.
Did anyone go to a store and make a purchase that was $9.99?
And what to watch tonight? 😕
