**Martin Hyde** , excellent post. Very informative and correct. Especially the part about the profound stupidity of **ElvisL1ives**. That cannot be overstated. It would be interesting to see what the proposed language was that was discarded. Also, an interesting debate would be: to what degree, generally, can we look back at congressional minutes and suss out meaning by the phrasings that were discarded? Again, well done. ---

these thinks donā€™t belong here on native american lands. i donā€™t care where everyone else came from, you should feel priviledged that you get an opportunity to learn about native people instead of shoving them aside like they donā€™t exist. like what they believe or their way of life. we donā€™t care about your history or your problems between other nations, how rude,. its like your minding your business sitting on a park bench and two people come up sit beside you and start arguing about all their problems. uh, like ā€œim hereā€.???wtf@#\* just like the race issue between blacks and white or whomever, uh your origins are across the globe, so take your conflicts somewhere else. ---
