Here’s an updated story on the 10-year-old boy who was seriously injured while protecting his younger sister. TL : DR - He wasn’t even expected to survive at first, but he is talking and got to enjoy a visit from a favorite athlete. I saw a lot of love expressed in this story. > **['Daddy, did I save my sister?': Young Philadelphia plane crash victim asks...](https://6abc.com/post/daddy-did-save-sister-young-philadelphia-plane-crash-victim-asks-waking-hospital/15864306/)** > > One of the first things the injured 10-year-old boy asked when he woke up in the hospital was about his little sister and the Super Bowl, he dad says. ---

**Update:** The [voice recorder](https://www.inquirer.com/news/philadelphia-plane-crash-cause-update-preliminary-report-ntsb-20250306.html) wasn’t working, possibly for years. This will obviously make the investigation more difficult. ---
