1-day Yellowstone visit from Bozeman, worth it?

I would say plan on driving to a number of places and doing short walks. If you take the hiking route, so to speak, you see less, but it will still be lovely.

There’s only one there (underground) and it erupts around once every 600,000 years or so.

When it does, she’ll need to be at least hundreds of miles away for a decent chance of survival.

Yes I understand, so does she. However fears are not always logical.

Better late than never… Wanted to report back and let you know that I had an amazing day in Yellowstone. (This was back in mid October.) I left early morning and got to the gate at dawn. I drove along the northern road and then around the main loop, stopping by many of the major attractions. Here are some photos I took. Thank you all!

I’ve always want to go, but never made it there. Your photos are amazing, thank you. I think I’ll plan a trip for sometime next year.
