Have you ever read any Anglo-Israel materials? One “evidence” is that the (I think) Behistun Stone refers to the Israelites as the “Khumri” (those of Omri), from whence supposedly comes “Cimmeria”. Interestingly, it also refers to them as the “Sacae”, from whence supposedly comes “Saxons”.

Yeah, I spent a couple of years in the late 1980s researching this stuff, thanks to Gene Scott.

I’m still not sure it’s all just coincidences and circumstantial evidence.

If you are from the UK, you may not know that the British Israelite nonsense isn’t regarded as a harmless eccentricity over here; it’s the foundation of modern American neo-Nazism.

No, I’m quite American, and classic Anglo-Israelites are pretty repulsed by how it’s been co-opted by the white supremacist Identity crowd. Fortunately, it’s also a dividing issue in White Supremacist circles as it’s seen by many as just another Jewish plot, along with Christianity. When Tom Metzger of the White Aryan Resistance was asked about it, he responded “We’re not going to get anywhere relying on an old Jewish Science-Fiction book.”
