Good lord. I can just barely imagine someone thinking they could get away with watching something like that when nobody else was looking. Leaving it on the screen when a supervisor walks in? And then arguing with the supervisor about it?!

What a truly astounding display of willful ignorance.
Half a boob and her butt are naked parts of a woman that should not be displayed on your screen at work. Heck, I’d go as far as saying that anything that’s not rated G shouldn’t be viewed at work but that’s just me. Our firewall blocks just about everything and streaming audio and video are not permitted unless it’s work related.
Can’t wait to hear how this turns out.

That’s just stupid. He honestly said ‘just a boob and a butt’ and expected it to be ok? What were you going to say, ‘Oh you mean you can’t see both her boobs? Well, I guess it’s alright then.’ That is some serious fantasy land logic there.

I had never heard of Monica Bellucci but now I have and I’ve seen pictures of her and there is, indeed, a beneficent God and I’ve given thanks. If a sacrifice is required, I’ll do that, too.

The big boss sent me an email asking me to summarize the encounter; I had already written it, as (a) I knew said request has to be coming, and (b) I felt like it, so I already sent it off, CCed to the obvious persons. The BB does not suffer idiots, so I’d say a suspension is coming.

You’ll want to alert IT so they can retain the proxy server records.
I’ve been where you are and it’s not pleasant. That incident resulted in the offender being fired.

Actually I don’t, as I’m not the dude’s boss or his boss’s boss. My work here is done.
I 'spect the proxy server thing will happen entirely without me, though. I don’t expect anything to change, as the sales people, by the nature of their job, need to have unfettered web access to look at customer web sites.
