Dear God, I haven’t felt this angry and sick about a news story in quite a while. The poor precious girl was handed over to adults and strangers by her _own mother_, drugged, raped, killed (strangled or stabbed, maybe both), and finally dismembered. They found her in a bathtub ☹ How could people be so cruel? Her mother! And what can you do? Put them in prison? Maybe they get roughed up a few times. Death penalty? Pfff. Anything our justice system gives them will be gloriously merciful in light of what they’ve done. I just…I can’t deal. ---

Well, I thought I had heard it all, but I guess not. I’ve heard of people selling sex with their kids for drugs or drug money…but “she liked to watch”???:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek: I need brain bleach now. ---

This is just proof that there is evil in the world and it’s sicker than anything you can imagine. I’m by turns trying to decide if I feel sorry for the mother that she is that far gone into lala land and that she didn’t get the help she needed before reproducing or that she should just be shot like a rabid dog in the street. ---

I’ve been around plenty of years, and have seen and/or heard of plenty of really awful things happening to kids. We’ve got some currently under investigation here in Austalia at the moment, but I must say I’ve never seen and/or heard of anything quite so gut-wrenching as this. Y’know, I’m sort of glad that the child died, because I can’t imagine having to LIVE with the knowledge that your mum pimped you out to get her jollies. FFS. Damn. ---

Back when I worked at the clinic with the loads of drug addicts we had at any one time about a dozen people who had been pimped out as children by their parents. Yes, it really fucks them up. PTSD is a given. Stories like these prove that in humans motherhood is not instinctive and there’s nothing magical about being a mother that makes you care about your offspring. If the vast majority of mothers do care and protect their kids it’s because the vast majority of people are actually pretty decent on a basic level, and society does a pretty good job of socializing most people.
