Mabel. Who’s Mabel, you ask? In “El Mysteriouso Voyage de Homer” (or something like that) Bart is talking to Lisa at the kitchen table and says, “So I says to Mable, I says…” (Homer walks in. As he walks out, Bart repeats) “So I says to Mable, I says…” We don’t know what he says to Mable, or who she is. but I have a theory. Mable is the “wavy-haired’ girl” in Bart’s class who, to my knowledge, has never spoken or officially given a name. Much like the kid in the large pink sunglasses. Maybe their destined to be together. ---

Since we’re into the third hundred posts, I’ll add three: Lisa Leslie (WNBA star playing herself and correcting a “She’s got game” reference by declaring “I _have_ game!”) Robert Frost (seen in a tape of an old Krusty show – the poet is reading his _Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening_, the clown sends fake snow cascading on Frost, and Robert indignantly interjects “We discussed this, I said NO!”) Sherry Bobbins (she’s an original creation, not at all like Mary Poppins!) ---
