It’ll be Cecil. He’ll freeze MPSIMS for a moment or two when it reaches 999,999, he’ll post in a random thread saying “HA HA!” and then he’ll unfreeze it and let everyone resume posting 😉 ---

If you use the “forum jump” feature at the bottom of the screen and select “forums homes” from the list, it will take you to the index of forums. The number of posts and threads total in all forums, and the number of posts/threads in each forum individually, are listed there. ---

I am going to try really hard not to be the one, that’s just pressure I can’t handle. Can you imagine the fame associated with such a milestone? I started a thread on this subject over a month ago, after having concluded that the event was approaching (using skewed empirical data, I vastly over-estimated the number of daily posts). I believe we’re rolling along at about 1,000 posts per day, so we’re talking about a week. What’s the prize, I wonder??
