Semi-serious aside here:

Is there any way actually to **know** the sequential number of a post **within a forum?** PostIDs are always sequential within the whole board.

Well, I’m not sure about the nature of the first prize, but I think we need **another** prize for “Last doper who manages to start a thread about 1M MPSIMS posts **before** the event actually occurs”😃

Don’t know. I think they need to do a project review, with triage to mark the systems they can’t fix in time. And a consultant to fix the problem. There’s still time. We can be _compliant_ before the date hits us! Or can we? Where’s the paper trail? Where oh where are all the mails where I SCREAMED at management that this problem has been waiting to happen all along? And that it was discussed in **1993** by some Bloke with a Beard From Canada?

Ooh… Good olw Y2K all over again!
