You know, it’s so tempting to ask about the third word that rhymes in “gry.” I don’t want to find that my 1,000th post is the one that gets me banned, though. So, Dopers … whatcha’ think? ---

I’m in just about the same boat. Except I don’t have a clue what your question means, so I guess I’ve been whooshed. However, one more small step to MY 1,000! I worry, are my posts too cheap, too easy? Then I read some others - and think _Nah!_ ---

Take a tremendous dump (of the cerebral kind) in the thread. Write a whole bunch of pages of your thoughts on your experience in Dopeland. Write about fond memories. Write about the good and the bad. Let everyone know that you’re not just a poster, you’re a human being. By the way, if you “miss” (i.e. you don’t keep track of your post-count, and your 1000 post ends up being a “Yep, me too”, or some other less-than-stellar thing), then don’t worry, and just let your 1003 post be the OP of your celebration thread. ---
