Since we have both teams picked with it comes to an ultimate winner, we’ll first look at the score total. Here’s how that will break down: Broncos Win: **Airman Doors, USAF** - 65 or over **Skammer** - 59-64 **Shoeless** - 55-58 **kenobi 65** - 48-54 (tie on 47) **It’s Not Rocket Surgery!** - 43 43-46 (tie on 47 or 42) **Justin\_Bailey** - 40-41 (tie on 42 or 39) **Grits and Hard Toast** - 38 or under (tie on 39) Seahawks Win: **Jahiegel** - 44 or over **Fear the Turtle** - 42-43 **Procrustus** - 39-41 (tie on 38) **Gray Ghost** - 34-37 (tie on 38) **Mahaloth** - 33 or under If one of the ties comes to be, then we move on to the next tiebreaker, margin of victory: If the Broncos win with a total of 47 then we have a problem – **kenobi 65** and **It’s Not Rocket Surgery!** _both_ picked a MOV of 11. In which case the next tiebreaker is winning team score – **kenobi 65** would win on a Broncos’ score of 30+, **It’s Not Rocket Surgery!** on 28 or under, and if the Broncos score 29, then we go to the _next_ tiebreaker, losing team score. **kenobi 65** would win on a Seahawks score of 19+, **It’s Not Rocket Surgery!** with 17 or under. A Seahawks score of 18 would mean a tie – but that’s an impossibility due to the previous tiebreakers. Broncos win, total of 42: **It’s Not Rocket Surgery!** wins with a MOV of 10 or more, **Justin\_Bailey** with a MOV of 8 or less. MOV of 9 means **It’s Not Rocket Surgery!** wins with a Broncos score of 26+, **Justin\_Bailey** with 25 or under. Broncos win, total of 39: **Justin\_Bailey** wins with a MOV of 6 or more, **Grits and Hard Toast** with 4 or less. MOV of 5 means **Justin\_Bailey** wins with a Broncos score of 23 or more, **Grits and Hard Toast** with 22 or under. A Broncos score of 22 means it goes to the Seahawks score where…oh, they both picked 17. Ok, fuck this noise – if all that happens, then they tie. Seahawks win, total of 38: **Procrustus** wins with a MOV of 6 or more, **Gray Ghost** with 4 or less. MOV of 5 means **Procrustus** wins with a Seahawks score of 22 or more, **Gray Ghost** with 21 or under. Feel free to double-check my math. ---

I’m pretty sure I’m not going to win. The forecast just came across the ticker on ESPN, and it’s not good. 30s in the afternoon, 20s at night, with a 60 percent chance of wintry mix during the day and an 80% chance of the same during the game. It’s going to be a mess. There is no way it’s going to be the shootout I predicted, even if I got the teams right. I will win on this prediction, though: there with never be another outdoor Super Bowl in the Snow Belt ever again. It may turn out to be a great game, but the NFL’s corporate patrons won’t tolerate freezing their asses off again. ---

I think the NFL offers a free stream this year (but I’m not 100% on that). However, keep in mind that the predictions of a guaranteed low score are…premature. There’s no reason to think this won’t go into the 50’s or 60’s. ---

A high of 50 and they don’t expect any rain (rain, not snow) until late at night, basically after the game is over. I guess we’re all back in it. Seriously, I think this weather issue is wildly overblown. Manning has played for two years in Denver, where the winters can get a bit chilly, and he has done ok there. At this point, his dome-handicap is basically gone. It does not _ever_ get colder in Seattle than it can get in Denver. The air will be a little denser and moister in New Jersey, more like what the Seahawks are accustomed to, rather similar to how it was when they pantsed the Giants in December. The Broncos are more used to cold, light air, the kind that favors Manning’s “ducks”, but I seriously doubt it will make much of a difference – I mean, did he not do pretty well in the driving rain in Miami in that one SB? The cold is only the NFL’s problem, because it makes the attendees slightly less comfortable. The teams will be fine, hell, they might even play better (less sweating). ---
