A serious contender was **14 kings of Greece in a full Ptolemaic dynasty**. But the way I count it, there were only [thirteen](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ptolemaic_dynasty), one of whom “never reigned.” Another beautiful hypothesis slain by an ugly fact. ---

Not even if there were 14. Other than experts in that period, no one would say _“Of course, that’s it!!”_ They’d say “Ptolemaic?😕” and “How is anyone supposed to know that?!?” and they’d be right. Again,it doesn’t matter how perfectly the words fit, they must match a common saying, leading to "_“Of course, that’s it!!”_ Of course “common” could include a specific audience if the magazine was tailored to one, but if so, it’s cars and not Egyptian history. ---
