Mr. Z, I have to chuckle. I had a former partner who was an insurance coverage specialist who once made the grandiose statement that insurance companies are the “great satan” in america. But he worked both sides of the aisle, representing individuals fighting insurance companies over coverage issues, and some isurance companies trying to “not cover.” We joked about whether he was working for the “great satan” today or not.
Well, Sox, I have worked for carriers, brokers and insureds. I can say, without reservation, that whoever opposes me is the “Great Satan.” We just had a carrier break a three year contract with us. Right now, I am thinking that a few more bad faith lawsuits are just what the industry needs.
does anyone know if the tobacco companies have any coverage for this loss?
