Cecil,

```
 I want to thank you for the information on the 16th amendment authorizing taxes. I have an aquaintance that tried to argue the same points some other people in your column have made and he ended up serving 10 years in state prison.
 I now have a nephew waving the same banner and I have been trying to find great ammunition to defuse his timebomb.
```

Again, thank you.
Ken Wolff

The acquaintance ended up in a state prison for tax evasion?
